2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide when uploading, optimizing, or creating account credentials: name, email, phone, location, work history, skills, education, and other résumé content. We also collect basic usage data (pages visited, feature usage) and payment metadata when you purchase a plan. We do not sell personal data.
3. How we use your information
Your data is used to parse and enhance résumés, generate cover letters, score ATS compatibility, process payments, provide customer support, and improve the service. Account data is used to authenticate you and restore saved work.
4. AI processing
Résumé text may be processed by secure AI services to extract, rewrite, or tailor content when you use those features. Do not submit information you are not permitted to share. AI output may require your review before use.
5. Cookies and authentication
We use session cookies and similar technologies for login, checkout, and workflow state. Third-party sign-in (for example Google OAuth) is subject to the provider’s privacy policy as well.
6. Data retention
We retain account and document data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us.

We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest, including HTTPS, server-side access controls, and secure payment processing through our payment partners. No method of transmission is 100% secure.
